Joshua Kimmik has revealed he is in talks over a new contract with Bayern Munich but is not ruling out other options football club.

Kimmik is contracted to Bayern Munich until the summer of 2025 and is in talks with the club over a new deal. But the 29-year-old has not ruled out a move away to seek a new challenge. Having been linked with a move to Barcelona.
‘I don’t think about that, but you shouldn’t judge anything in life and in football.’ Kimmick said. ‘Everyone knows I’m in talks with the club. What I’m discussing with the club is internal. I won’t talk about it in a press conference.’
Bayern would have listened to offers for Kimmich this summer. Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Kimmich to bolster their midfield. As per Sky Sports, Kimmich is not interested in moving to Paris. Manchester City also hold an interest in the German midfielder. But no concrete talks have materialized regarding a transfer.
The Bavarian club is looking to trim their wage bill. They would ideally like Kimmich to sign a new deal on a reduced salary. It will be intriguing to see how Kimmich approaches negotiations for the new deal since this is likely to be the last big contract of his career.
